Driving Innovation, Education & Digital Transformation

This has been a busy and rewarding quarter for Cardiac Services, with key digital healthcare milestones, collaborative training initiatives and successful participation in industry events, all supporting our mission to help healthcare teams deliver safer, smarter and more connected patient care.

Advancing Digital Critical Care

A major highlight this quarter was the successful go-live of the IntelliSpace Critical Care and Anaesthesia (ICCA) system at Cavan General Hospital, the second hospital to go live as part of the HSE National Clinical Care Information System (CCIS) programme, following the highly successful implementation at Connolly Hospital Blanchardstown.

Together, these milestones represent significant progress in the rollout of Digital ICU services across Ireland and reflect the exceptional collaboration between clinicians, nursing teams, informatics, IT, pharmacy, clinical engineering and project management teams. We are proud to support this important transformation in critical care delivery.

Supporting Education Through Simulation

We were delighted to welcome Laerdal Medical to Belfast for a hands-on training session featuring SimMan Critical Care and MamaAnne. The session explored how simulation can support team-based learning, patient safety and clinical confidence across critical care and maternity settings.

We also had the pleasure of exhibiting at the Irish Association for Simulation (IAS) Annual Conference 2026, connecting with healthcare educators, simulation specialists and clinical professionals while showcasing innovative simulation solutions that support immersive learning and improved patient outcomes.

Connecting with Healthcare Professionals

Throughout the quarter, our team attended several key healthcare events, including:

College of Anaesthesiologists of Ireland Annual Congress 2026, where we showcased Philips Patient Monitoring solutions, Arcomed TCI Infusion Pumps and the ORSIM® Bronchoscopy Simulator.

Future Health Summit 2026, where we engaged with healthcare leaders and digital health innovators, highlighting solutions from Nervecentre and Hyland that support connected, patient-centred care.

Neonatal Nurses Association (NNA) Northern Ireland Conference, where we showcased the Philips IntelliVue MX750 patient monitor and ATOM Medical neonatal care solutions while discussing innovations in neonatal care.

EBME Expo 2026, where we exhibited as part of Uniphar Medtech and welcomed visitors to our stand to explore technologies including the Philips Cardiac Workstation 7000, HeartStart Intrepid and Philips Capsule MDI.

These events provided valuable opportunities to share knowledge, demonstrate innovative technologies and strengthen relationships across the healthcare community.

Thank You

Thank you to all our customers, partners and colleagues for your continued support throughout Q2. We look forward to building on this momentum as we continue to support healthcare teams with innovative technologies, digital solutions and education initiatives that help improve patient care.
