Mark is Managing Director within the SISK Healthcare Group, working in the Healthcare industry for over 25 years. He has a wide spectrum of experience managing 70 people locally within Ireland, across a wide range of disciplines from Technical, Sales, Clinical Application Specialists, Clinical IT and Logistics. With over 10 years operational experience managing a multi-million MTES, specialising in Patient Care and Monitoring Solutions, procurement, managing end user expectations, implementation cycles and providing technical and operational support. Mark joined Cardiac Services in 2002, having previously managed his own Medical business.

Ronan joined Cardiac Services in 2004 as part of the IT team in the Dublin office. From there he moved into various roles working in multiple facets of the business including training & education, service and finally in sales. With over 10 years’ experience in hospital sales he took on the role of Sales Manager for the Hospital division driving a small team of high performing sales representatives which encompasses selling of Critical Care solutions & Clinical IT systems for hospitals across Ireland. In 2020 Ronan has taken on the role of Head of Sales.

Richard joined Cardiac Services as Service & Education Director in 2013 and is responsible for delivering all business aspects of Clinical Engineering, Clinical Training and Clinical IT Departments. Prior to this Richard held a number of Service Management roles in healthcare in the 37 years since he graduated with an NCEA qualification in Electronic Engineering from Dundalk Institute of Technology. Previous roles included 21 years managing the Service Department on the Island of Ireland for the Diagnostic Imaging Division of a large multinational company, Siemens Medical.

Dermot joined Cardiac Services in September 2011 and was responsible for the Clinical Education Team, Healthcare Informatics Projects and Installation Planning. Dermot was employed in the NHS in Northern Ireland, after having completed RGN training in Belfast City Hospital, Dermot went on to specialise in Cardiology and Resuscitation. Dermot’s last post in the NHS was as Clinical Lead for Strategic Change and Efficiency in the Western Trust. Dermot has completed a BSc in Cardiology and a MSc in Communication, Training and Development. In 2019 Dermot took on the role of Senior Business Manager.

Sharon joined Cardiac Services in 2017 as Project Manager working on Health Informatics Systems. Prior to this Sharon started in the Tech industry in 1997 as a Project Manager in Baltimore Technologies, moving into Sales within the Healthcare sector in 2003. Sharon holds a Degree in Marketing & Languages, completing three Postgrad Diplomas in IT, Health Informatics & Digital Marketing. Previous roles in large multinational companies included Senior Account Manager for Philips Diagnostic Imagining Division promoting products in radiology and cardiology accounts across Ireland. As Country Manager at Maquet Getinge, she was responsible for development of sales of all Medical equipment across the divisions: cardiovascular, intensive care & surgery to all hospitals in Ireland. In 2019 Sharon was appointed as Head of Operations responsible for managing the day-to-day operations across the Cardiac Services Group to support achievement of financial targets and delivery of the Strategic Plans. The role is responsible for ensuring that effective operational management systems and processes are in place enabling the smooth running of the Cardiac Services business in each of our four sites; Dublin, Belfast, Manchester and Northampton.

Dave joined the Cardiac Services team in 1992 in the capacity of Pre Hospital Sales Specialist. Dave has a vast amount of knowledge and experience working with a wide range of medical devices, including simulation training, defibrillation and resuscitation. Dave currently holds the position of Pre Hospital Sales Manager, which he brings his 25+ years’ experience to. Dave is highly skilled in leading a team of sales representatives to infiltrate new markets with the latest Medical Devices to achieve sales goals.

Colm joined Cardiac Services in 1989 as a Field Service Engineer. Over the past 27 years he has gained a considerable experience on a wide range of medical product supplied by Cardiac Services. He currently holds the position of Service Manager overseeing all activities of our engineering teams. Colm is responsible for the delivery of service contracts, breakdown calls and installation of new equipment. Colm is works closely with our Clinical Sales team providing technical assistance with pre sales and customer quotations.

Aidan joined Cardiac Services in 1991 as an Engineer for Business & Scientific Services, a computer Division of Cardiac Services. He provided installation and support services for Government, Manufacturing and Enterprise clients in Northern Ireland. In 1997 when the Royal Victoria Hospital implemented HP's CareVue clinical information system followed shortly by St James's Hospital saw Aidan move to the Healthcare side of our business. He now manages the Clinical IT Team responsible for Healthcare Information System installation and support as well as Device and Enterprise Integration services throughout Ireland.

Andy is now the Office Manager and leans on his 24+ years’ experience of our business to deliver operational excellence to the Northern Ireland customer base.

John joined Cardiac Services in 2004 as Logistics Manager for Belfast and subsequently assumed responsibility for all our warehousing operations including our Dublin and Northampton distribution centres. He previously spent 12 years with Fujitsu Telecommunication’s (Ireland) with operational responsibility for repair activities including Production management, Procurement, Engineering, Logistics, Quality, and ERP/IT systems for the facility. In his current multidiscipline role John is responsible for all Logistic operations, procurement and inventory planning in all three sites. John holds a HNC in Engineering and a Masters in Manufacturing Management.

On Dec 15th 1969 Cardiac Services officially started trading in Belfast. The Company was formed by Tom Beare and Jim Brown, initially trading from the Antrim Road, Belfast, then moving to the Lisburn Road in 1974.
They are now located on Wildflower Way, just off the Boucher Road in Belfast, having moved to their new home in 2007. It is now home to a brand new state of the art Endoscopy workshop for the service and repair of flexible endoscopes, the only one of its kind in Northern Ireland.
In 1974 Cardiac Services opened their Dublin Office to support and expand their initiatives throughout Ireland. Today, Cardiac Services have a dedicated Customer Support team available to deal with all enquiries in relation to Sales, Clinical Engineering, Clinical IT, Training & Education and Integration.
Their 25+ Clinical engineering team also provide technical support from project inception, installation, post go-live preventative maintenance and upgrades to end of life disposal. They also provide out of hours support on critical systems.
Cardiac Services are delighted to announce that they have moved to a brand new facility in Northern Cross, Dublin.
In 1990 Cardiac Services expanded into the UK and opened their Manchester office to support UK distribution activities. After successfully completing the acquisition of Beaver Medical in 2007, the warehouse & distribution facilities moved to new premises located in Northampton to support their sales growth and diversification ambitions.
Cardiac Services GB now offers a wide-range of medical devices, diagnostic equipment and surgical instruments with specific focus on resuscitation, fetal monitoring and cardiographs.
In 2018 we relocated to new and modern premises in Adlington and now employ over 25 staff involved in sales, customer support, warehousing and distribution.
