Masters International Cross Country Birmingham 2009

The annual British and Irish Masters 5 miles cross country international between England, Scotland, Wales, Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland was held in Birmingham on 14th November.

Robert Wilson from Cardiac Services was selected for the over 50's race at the Comber cross country trial in October, after being 5th fastest over 50. Six people were selected for each age group. The event was held at Perry Barr, Alexander stadium near Birmingham in very wet and windy conditions.

Robert finished 3rd Northern Irish and 38th overall out of 90 runners as 3 age groups ran together. Well done!
